Debra Ann (Lavoie) Olden, 69, of New Bedford passed away Saturday July 19, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and wonderful person to be around. She always loved good food and music she could dance to. She was always willing to give the shirt off her back if she had to. Debbie is survived by her husband Kenneth Olden of Louisiana; her siblings, Beverly Beaudoin of Dartmouth, Marlene Lamb of New Bedford, and Raymond Lavoie and his wife, Rosemary of New Bedford; her sister-in-law, Jamie Lavoie of Dartmouth; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her only daughter, Katrina Olden, her parents, Raymond and Isabelle (Lopes) Lavoie, and her siblings, Ronald Lavoie, Robert Lavoie, and Carol Belli. The family would like to thank the staff of the Oaks Nursing Home in New Bedford for all the loving care they gave to Debbie while she was there. Her visitation will be held on Wednesday July 30th from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 121 Mount Pleasant St., New Bedford at 10 AM. Burial will be in Tabor Cemetery, Acushnet.
