Wheeler Funeral Home - El CampoDebra Ann Phillips, 64, of Sealy, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 6, 1961, in Houston, Texas to James and Aronia (Hughes) Psencik.
She graduated from Splendora High School, and then attended Wharton Junior College, becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked as an LVN for 30+ years, mainly for Texana in El Campo and in surrounding areas. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing games and baking.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Debra is survived by her daughters Carrie Wilson (Roy Wilson) and Molly Hahn (Shane Hahn); son Barry Phillips (Dawn Phillips); grandchildren; Jaiden Phillips, Joel Phillips, Annabeth Phillips, Paul Jaxson Hahn; brothers Art Allen (Judy Allen) and Charles Allen; Aunt Mary Crossman, and her Best Friend, Judy Leshikar. Debbie had an infectious smile, a curious sense of humor, and a heart of gold that was a mile wide. She may be gone now, but she will never be forgotten by those who loved her and will miss her the most. To honor her memory, a memorial is planned for November 15, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Blessing at 11 am.
