Debra Precht, 69, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
She was born in Napoleon, Ohio, on Oct. 30, 1956, to the late John and Karen (Niebel) Leaders.
Deb was member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Florida, Ohio. She had an eclectic assortment of interest in hobbies, including photography, target shooting, amusement parks, plane and helicopter rides and flea markets.
Deb loved her dogs and horses, and she was often seen in parades with her horses. She spent a great deal of time outside in nature and tending to her flowers. Deb was fiercely independent but had a huge heart for her friends and family.
Deb is survived by her siblings, Sherry (Russell) Krueger, Sandra (Douglas) Blackwood and Steven (Tracy) Leaders; husband and companion, John; nieces and nephews, Nicole Blackwood, Rebecca (Ruben) Pagan, Ian (Erin) Blackwood, Dalton (Brittany) Krueger, Bethany (Philip) Wertz, Rachel (Cooper) Wild, and Ezekiel Leaders; great niece and nephew, Matteo, Liliana and Amberly, and two on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nieces, Katherine and Brianna Blackwood.
A memorial gathering will be held in conjunction with her mother, Karen, on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2025, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Florida, Ohio, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
