Debra Jane Bone (Schofield) (aka Debi) (June 29, 1966 to August 28, 2025) mother, daughter, sister and friend to all passed away in the early morning of Thursday, August 28 th , 2025 after a valiant fight against cancer.

Debi's greatest love was her 24 year old son, Andrew Schofield. Debi was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend with a huge heart, an infectious smile who exuded unconditional love and was always positive, especially if faced with adversity or illness.

A fourth generation California native, born in Bakersfield, California, Debi grew up in the Coachella Valley, after brief stints in Fraser Lake, BC and Dungeness, Washington. Debi called the days spent in British Columbia and Washington, her great adventures. She moved to San Diego County in high school to attend a special high school program at National University in Vista. Debi had a rare form of dyslexia but still graduated from high school with a 3.9 average. In her further education and career, Debi worked as a teachers aid in a pre school the Coachella Valley and a certified nurses assistant in the San Diego County before becoming a Mom. Since Andrew's birth, Debi devoted herself to Andrew and Andrew's well being and that of her Mom, Barbara Bone.

Debi is survived by her son Andrew Schofield, her mother, Barbara Bone, her sister, Geri Bone, her aunt and uncle, Cindy and Bill Bone, her uncle Stuart Mayo, her cousins Randall and Allison Bone, their children, Elleana, Cassia and Hayden, Michelle Bone and her sons, Jonathan Bone and Beckett Smalldon, Parker Mayo, Lee and Katie Mayo and their children, MacKenzie, Lexi and Brayson and Brent and Amy Mayo.

Debi was our angel on earth who will be deeply missed.
