Debbie Minium Tafoya,
Debbie passed for this life on June 11, 2025.
She was a lifetime resident of Aztec, NM. Her dad, Emery passed in 2002, and Debbie picked up where he left off as honorary concierge of Aztec. Always thinking of others, generous and kind.
She had a love of the outdoors, Four-wheeling, Camping, Snow modeling and a better bowler than most! Having been on a team for many years. Debbie and her teammates won many state championships and traveled from coast to coast. She loved visiting her brother Jule, in Canyon, TX where they would attend Volleyball and Football games at West Texas (WT), this became an annual event. You could also find Debbe at the Vanilla Moose enjoying a small vanilla cone. So, the next time you’re at the “Moose” have a cone and think of Debbie.
Debbie loved spending time with her family and friends. 70 years of a good life and a ton of good friends from far and wide. She had an amazing life full of adventures.
The last two years of Debbie’s life were not kind to her, but in the true Debbie fashion she took it in stride and smiled her way through. We want to give a special Thanks to Debbie’s Care givers for their Love and Support
Debbie is survived by her son Billy Tafoya, Daughter Kimberly Stripling (husband Jason Stripling) Grandson Kason Stripling., Brother Jule Minium and his wife Helen from Canyon Tx. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Debbie is processed in death by her husband Ed Tafoya.
