Debra Tail Obituary

Debbie was born August 13, 1954, daughter of Thomas and Nita Mack. She was a 1973 graduate of Waterman High School.
Debbie is survived by her son, Clayt (Cori) Wolfe; daughter, Megan (Tim) McCarthy; sister, Carla (Tony) Rivera; niece, Rachel (Ryan) Wold; aunt, Gloria (Scott) Bickford; and friend, Calvin McDonald.
Debbie was a proud grandmother of Kyler and Kaden Wolfe, and great-aunt to Ellie and Alexandra Wold.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Tail; mother, Nita Mack; father, Thomas Mack; and grandparents, Helen and Wilbur Mack and Marian Holden, and Grandma and Grandpa Van Winkle.
Debbie's life journey led her to the Pine Ridge Reservation in Porcupine, SD, where she met and married Alvis Tail, who was a tribal member.
She spent years learning and adapting to the Indian culture. Debbie loved the children and her animals on the reservation. She also loved crafting, music and gardening.
A special heartwarming thanks to her special caretakers, Ursala, Duane Sr (DJ) and Duane Jr (DJ), and Aaron Rowland. We will be forever grateful for their love and support.
Debbie will be greatly missed by her family in Illinois, and her family and friends at the reservation.
A celebration of life is being planned in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. A celebration of life also is being planned in DeKalb, for her family in Illinois.

We will certainly miss our good friend Debbie at our Evergreen Lutheran Sunday Church and Bible Study. She always had a smile, seasonal cloths and often shared photos of her family and "The Boys" her 2 loving pet cats. Debbie loved to talk about Jesus and she knew her Bible. With thoughts and prayers for Debbie´s family and friends.
