Debra Kay "Debbie" Tipton

Debra "Debbie" Kay Tipton, age 68, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on Wednesday, April 25, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Johnnie and Alma Samuels.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Tipton, and sister, Linda Cox.
Debbie worked many years as an EMT for Bullitt County EMS and enjoyed sewing, coloring, playing games on her computer and time with her family. She will be sadly missed by so many who loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jonathan Samuels, Jerry Shepherd, Cheryl Rountree and Hope Peck (Johnathon); her siblings, David Samuels (Louann), Donnie Samuels (Joyce), Ted Samuels (Brenda) and Marshal Samuels; her grandchildren, Kayla Samuels, Kaitlyn Hudson, Autum Guffey, Johnathon Peck Jr., Roy Guffey III, Zachary Peck and Ciera Peck; her great grandchildren, Audree, Jay, Whitley, Holstyn and Joseph; along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Mount Eden Cemetery. Visitations will be Friday 2 pm until 8 pm and Saturday 9 am until the time of service at 11 am.
