Debra Ann Treff

Debra Ann Scroggins Treff, 65, passed away Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas, after a
lengthy illness. Cremation services by Parkside Funeral Chapel of Hereford, with private burial in West
Park Cemetery of Hereford. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Hereford at a later date.
Debra was born May 6, 1958, in Plainview, Texas to her parents, Lindel and Janice Scroggins. She moved
with her family to Hereford in 1962 and attended Hereford schools including Shirley Elementary,
Stanton Junior High, and Hereford High School where she graduated in 1976. While attending high
school she performed with the choir and won several state competitions for solo and ensemble. For the
remainder of her life, she found true joy and inspiration in singing and playing piano for her Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, performing for weddings and funerals, and serving on several church praise teams.
Debra served as an assistant manager for Mr. Burger East in Hereford, which is where she met the love
of her life, Adam Treff. Then after a short courtship, they were joined in holy matrimony, on March 19th,
1994 in Hereford.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents, and a younger brother, Rick Scroggins.
She is survived by her husband, Adam, of Amarillo, a sister, Sandra Fowler, and husband, Don of
Hereford, and a brother, Randy Scroggins of Hereford, as well as her brother-in-law, Bruce Eskenazi of
Mesquite, Nevada, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
