Dee Pittman Tucker passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was 66 years old.
She was preceded in death by her father, James A. (Jimmy) Pittman, Her mother, Trilla M. Pittman, her stepmother, Ganell H. Pittman, and her twin sister, Deb Pittman Weeks. She is survived by her brothers, Dennis Pittman and Jim Pittman, and her stepbrother Ralph Johnson. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces in the Pittman family.
Dee Pittman Tucker grew up in Halifax, North Carolina. Dee and her twin sister Deb attended elementary and high school at Halifax Academy in the 1970s. Dee was a member of several Baptist churches in Halifax County at different times in her life. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and spent much of her time caring for other members of the family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at New Hope United Methodist Church with Reverend Sue Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com
