Deena Lynn Stidd, age 67, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on February 10, 2026. She was born on April 14, 1958, in Gardena, California, to Peggy (Cleveland) Purcell and Lynn Bolton.
Deena grew up in Redondo Beach, California, where she attended Redondo High School. Later, after moving to Oklahoma, she graduated from Star Spencer High School in Spencer. Following high school, Deena continued her education in nursing, a field that reflected her natural compassion and desire to help others.
On September 2, 1979, Deena met her husband and life mate, Clint Stidd, in Norman, Oklahoma. Deena cherished these adventures and was an active member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Deena's life will be celebrated and remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and the profound care she showed to those she held dear. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Clint Stidd, of the home; two daughters, Desiree Scott and Aaron, of Midwest City, OK, and Monica Ford of Moore, OK; four beloved grandchildren, Caden, Wyatt, Faith, and Dakota; one sister, Celise Blewett and Richard Dages; one brother, Matt Purcell and Trenda of Moore, OK; and sister-in-law, Dora Purcell of Aruba, along with numerous other cherished family members and dear friends.
Deena was preceded in death by her parents; her infant son, Nathan Murphy; her son, C.J. Stidd; one grandson, Levi Ford; and one brother, Mark Purcell.
