Deidra and I were classmates in the 85th police recruit class of the 85th police recruit class session. We were ward partners answering some of the most difficult situations the world had to offer. Deidra, did her job with pride and compassion. She was and will always be an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege to have known her and loved her. My heart hurts for everyone who knew her and loved her. I will never let go of our memories. Deidra and I went through every part of the hiring process together. My prayers and thoughts are with everyone.
