Dorothy Baker Obituary
Dorothy Faye Baker, 85, of Carmel, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Majestic Care of Carmel. She was born on January 9, 1941 to Alton and Ellen (Eads) Riesenbeck in Velpen, Indiana.
Dorothy worked as a surgical assistant and in medical records at the hospital. She enjoyed bowling, and vegetable and flower gardening. Dorothy was a very active member at Majestic Care.
She is survived by her children, Tracey (Scott) Townsend, Stacey Jones, and Kerry Baker; brothers, Stanley Riesenbeck, Robert Riesenbeck, and Larry Riesenbeck; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and 1 great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Kenneth Jay Baker; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Pastor Richard Russell will officiate. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
