DEIDRA ANN WARD Deidra Ann Ward, 77 of Argonia, Kansas, a homemaker, retired cosmetologist, and retired office manager, passed away Monday morning, September 22, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on August 24, 1948, in Wellington, KS, she was the daughter of the late Cleo and Vevalee (Warlow) Hamilton. Deidra graduated from Argonia High School in 1966. On February 18, 1967, she and Monty Ward were united in marriage in Caldwell, Kansas. Two children, Marc Lee Ward and Dionne Rene Wenciker, were born to this union. Deidra was a member of the Argonia United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children Marc Lee Ward (Melody) of Wichita, KS; and Dionne Rene Wenciker (Ryan) of Goddard, Kansas; Granddaughters Kimberlee Skolaski (Devin) of Azle, Texas, Miranda Ward of Wichita, KS; Mikayla Ward of Wichita, KS; Grandson Christopher Ward (Brittany) of College Station, TX; 4 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family available will be held at Cornejo Funeral Home, 1030 Mission Rd, Wellington, KS 67152: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025. Service will be held at Cornejo Funeral Home,1030 Mission Rd, Wellington, KS 67152: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
