Amari Ward

Amari Gyanna Ward, 23, of Jesup, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2026 at St. Joseph's /Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga. She was born on March 27, 2002 to Giovani Fullmore and Aida Ward in Jesup, Ga. Amari was a sweet loving young lady that was wise beyond her years. She was always looking for ways to improve and inspire others around her to do the same. Amari graduated from Wayne County High School in the Class of 2020 and was a member of Eternal House of Refuge under the leadership of Pastor Milton Sease.

Her employment varied from Dollar General, Hardee's, Roses and Huey Magoo's, always with a smile on her face. Amari's number one priority was taking care of her sweet baby boy.

Amari was preceded in death by her son, Jordyn Troupe.

Those left to cherish her memories: her mother, Aida Ward (Monty Williams), Jesup, Ga.; her father, Giovani Fullmore, Sr.(Nicole Williams), Jesup, Ga.; her siblings, Giovani Fullmore, Jr., Jesup, Ga., Jesiah Fullmore, Jesup, Ga., Carmaze Jernigan, Austin, Tx., Malaya Ward, Jesup, Ga., Billy'yon Dixon, Jesup, Ga.; her grandparents, Cynthia (Wallace) Tillman, Katherine Fullmore, all of Jesup, Ga.; Jorey (Phyllis) Ward, Charlotte, NC; her aunts and uncles, Maurie Ward, Pooler, Ga., Travis Scott, Atlanta, Ga., Zetoria Ward, Trenton, NJ, Thomas Fullmore, Jesup, Ga., Larry Fullmore, Jesup, Ga., Nicholas Pasley, Tennessee, Tavaris Tillman, Statesboro, Ga., Tyrone Tillman, Atlanta, Ga., Shakaqueta Fullmore, Warner Robins, Ga., Necole Pasley, Augusta, Ga., Tanisha Jackson, Jesup, Ga. and Nikki Motos, Jesup, Ga.; a special friend, Ziquavion "Zye" Troupe, Waycross, Ga.; a close friend, Raveen Jefferson, Jesup, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowful friends.

There will be a wake/viewing held on Sunday, March 01, 2026 at Royal Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 02, 2026 @ 1:00 pm at Unity Church of God, 1580 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga. 31545.

Interment in Sunset Oaks Memorial Cemetery. Jesup, Ga.

Repast will be at the social hall at Unity COG.
