Warren "Tiny" Washington

Warren "Tiny" Perry Washington, 65, of Jesup, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at his residence. He was born on September 28, 1960 to the late, George and Martha Houston-Washington in St. Petersburg, Fl. "Tiny" as he was known among family members, Tik Tok audience and friends, graduated from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, Florida Class of 1978. He was reared in Oakland Park Florida formerly known as Harlem McBride. Warren moved to Jesup in 2005. His employable years were spent at Winn Dixie for (22) years and at CSX where he worked (17) plus years as a welder and rail engineer before retiring in 2019.

His favorite pass time activities included Tik Tok videos, SEC Football and watching his favorite teams, which would be the Florida Gators and the Dallas Cowboys, cooking, hunting and fishing. "Tiny" enjoyed spending time with his family and making everyone laugh the most.

Warren leaves to mourn his passing: his wife of (36) years, Gemice Griffin-Washington, Jesup, Ga.; his children, Melissa R. Washington and Melisa J. Washington, both of West Palm Beach, Fl., Warren K. Washington, Jesup, Ga.; a sister, Wanda Perry, St. Petersburg, Fl.; like a sister, Sharon Prince, St. Lucie, Fl.; a god daughter, Anessa S. West, Waycross, Ga.; his god son, Donnell (Dorothy) Frazier, Jr., Screven, Ga.; his bonus grandson, Julian Roy II, West Palm Beach, Fl.; his great aunt, Bessie Perry, St. Petersburg, Fl.; his mother and father in-law; Edie and Ernest Merritt, Jesup, Ga.; his brother and sister in-laws, Sandar Ray (who was his best co-partnering his performances on Tik Tok), Lakeisha (Michael) McQueen and Roshan Merritt, all of Jacksonville, Fl., Ricky Merritt, Jesup, Ga. and Randy Merritt, Jacksonville, Fl.; his niece, Betty Milton, Jasper, Fl.; his closest friends, Daryl White, Jeffery Moore and Anthony Freeman; and a host of other relatives and fans who will miss him immensely.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5-7 pm at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine St., Jesup, Ga. 31545.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 @ 12 noon at Unity Church of God. 1580 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga. 31545.

A repast will be held at the local Farmers Market, 533 North 1st Street, Jesup, Ga. following the memorial service.
