Delanye K. Hashagen
Age 81 years old of El Dorado Spring, Mo.
Passed away Sunday November 5, 2023 in Springfield, MO. Delanye was born on June 24, 1942 in Nixa, MO. To his parents Cleo and Imogene Hashagen. He has three brothers Kenneth Hashagen who passed away on August 29, 2002. He is survived by his brothers David Hashagen and Steve Hashagen. He was married to his wife Carolyn J. Stephens of Neosho, MO. They have two children Craig S. Hashagen and Kim R. Hashagen. He had one granddaughter, Ashley Marsh, three great-grandchildren, Emma, Noha, and Caitlyn, all of Springfield, MO. And many nieces and nephews all of which he loved dearly. For many years he lived in El Dorado Springs, MO. With his long-time partner Judy Fowler who he loved very much. They had a farm together in Finley, MO. where he spent most of his spare time raising chickens, ducks, peacocks, pheasants, sheep, and elk. He worked hard to keep the property looking like a park and loved every minute of it. He had many neighbors and friends who he enjoyed spending time with and usually put them to work on projects, but their company was the most important part. Delanye, just like his father Cleo, were huge St. Louis Cardinal fans.
There will be a two-hour visitation on November 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Midwest Cremation and funeral Services located at 2026 West Woodland Street in Springfield, MO. 65807.
