Delbert Eugene Henderson

Delbert Eugene Henderson was the fifth of five children born to the late John S. and Wilma R. Henderson on January 24, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas where he attended Grant Elementary, Northeast Junior High and Sumner High School.
Delbert was preceded in Death by three brothers Jewel Henderson, James Henderson, Wendell Henderson and one sister Beverly Johnson.
August 6, 1975 Delbert was united in Holy Matrimony to Elisebeth (Duck) Anderson. They were married for 51 years.
Delbert received his Christian Upbringing at First Baptist Church located at 5th and Nebraska. Then became a member of Greater Pentecostal Temple.
Delbert was employed by several businesses in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri until his illness.
Delbert leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Elisebeth Henderson, four daughters: Melissa Henderson (William), Joyce Henderson-Small, Kimberlee Henderson, and Johndalyne Henderson; one sister Johndalyne "Peaches" Holly; two brother-in-laws, Johnny Anderson and Leeroy Anderson; three sister-in-laws, Rosie Davis, Ella Smith, and Rubie (Lamar) Hearn. Eleven grandchildren Jourdan, Michaela, Tywuane, Jeremy, Kiyla, VaRyah, Kaden, Vakia, JaNyah, JaKore and JyRaah; nine great-grandchildren Avaiya, Jadynn, Alazia, Alaya, Makenzie, Promise, Stephon Jr, ZyAire and Tywaune Jr and a host of nieces and nephews.
