Della M. Clery

1924 - 2022

Della Milre (Newell) Clery, beloved wife of the late Michael Clery Sr., passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 98 after a very brief illness. Della was born on March 17, 1924 in Clarks Harbor, Nova Scotia where she spent most of her childhood before moving to the United States for her final year of high school. Della and Mike married in 1944 before moving their family to Billerica, MA in 1950 where they spent the rest of their lives surrounded by family and friends. Della enjoyed raising her family, floral design and was an avid reader and accomplished knitter. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many and loved by all.

Della is survived by her three children: Michael Jr and his wife, Theresa, of Billerica; Linda Hotchkiss and her husband, Douglass of FL; and Barbara Pattullo of NH. Della was the beloved grandmother of Lori (Clery) Martel and her husband, Richard; Jeffrey Hotchkiss and his wife, Tracey; Michael Clery III; Donald Pattullo and his wife, Barbara; Steven Clery and his wife, Kerry; Merinda (Pattullo) Salsky and her husband, Ben; and Brittany Mazza. Additionally, Della was loved by her twelve great-grandchildren: Joshua, Richard III, Caulin, and Katherine Martel; Jack and Tyler Hotchkiss; Michael Clery IV; Millie and Tucker Pattullo; Addison Clery; and Nolan and Levi Salsky. She will be missed greatly by each and every one. Della was predeceased by her siblings: Merinda, Reginald, Vernon, Avery, Margaret, and Gerald.
