Della Glaspie Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel - Lemoore on Feb. 10, 2026.
Della Marie (Jones) Glaspie-Keel, a beloved and faithful servant of Jesus Christ, was born March 25, 1943, and called home to be with the Lord January 19, 2026.

Della was born in Foreman, Arkansas, the daughter of Clara and Willie Jones of Oklahoma.

Della was the sister of Charles Jones, Ina Mae Young, Mamie Jean Brown, CW Jones, Earlean Dixon, JC "Jake" Jones, James Jones, Joe Jones, and Vera Houston.

Della was married twice during her life. She was first married to Jim Glaspie, with whom she shared the joy of raising most of her children. Later in life, she married Amos Keel and remained his loving wife until his passing. Della was blessed with two cherished husbands in her lifetime, both of whom now rest in God's care.

Della was the proud mother of eight children, listed in order: Darlene Galloway (Miguel Espindola), Chester Neal, who was called home before her, Robert (Maria) Glaspie, Joyce Glaspie, Jim (Candi) Glaspie, Russell (Mona) Glaspie, Clara Jones, and Jason (Lucena) Glaspie. Della also carried a child who was called home before birth, a life entrusted to God and forever held in her heart.

Della's Bonus children are: Jimmie (Paulette) Glaspie, Mildred Dean Glaspie, Kenneth (Annie) Glaspie & Debra Glaspie.

Christine Moss, Dorothy (Dave) Angel, Josie Keel, Amos Keel Jr, Sonya Keel, Tralaine (Christy) Keel, Shyra (Keith) Billings, Andrea "Angie" (Deon) Crawford.

Beyond her family, Della was a guiding light to others, forming an extended "family of the heart". She nurtured, mentored, and loved countless young people as if they were her own.

Della devoted much of her life to caring for others. She always had an open door and an open heart, ready to help anyone in need. Della's loss is deeply felt by all the lives she touched.

As a God-fearing Apostolic woman, Della was a lifetime member of Last Days Ministries Apostolic Church. Founded by her beloved brother, Pastor James Jones, and his wife, Mildred Louise Jones.

Della (Jones) Glaspie-Keel leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and selfless service.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her loving church family. Though she is deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved and cared for.
