Doris Costa Obituary
Jean was born on November 11, 1948. To know Jean was to know devotion-she centered her world on her husband, her two daughters, her nine grandchildren, and her three great-grandchildren.
Jean was a woman of strength. She found joy in cooking for her family but found the most joy when family was together during the holidays. Keeping family traditions alive was very important to her.
Jean's love was steady and unconditional. She believed family was life's greatest blessing and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She spoke of them often and with great admiration.
Jean was preceded in death by her parent's Verdie and Lula Holmes. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ron Costa; her two children, Lori (Chris) Hill, and Lisa Costa; her nine cherished grandchildren, Ronnie, Chrisa (Alec), Christopher (Jillian), Madelyn, William (Kayley), Kameron (Jayden), Paxton, Brody and Rachel; and her three great grandchildren, Alekai, Atticus, and Cannon.
Doris Jean Costa leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. Though she will be deeply missed, the foundation she built and the love she gave will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call her theirs.
Services for Jean will be held on February 26, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Phipps Dale Funeral Chapel, Lemoore, CA.
