Della Mae Sutton

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Della Mae Sutton, who peacefully departed this life on March 12, 2026 at the age of 86 years old. Della Mae Sutton was born on July 23, 1939 in Sylvester, Georgia to Seedress Daniels and Willie Howard.

She lived a life filled with love, strength, and devotion to her family and faith. Her kindness, wisdom, and warm spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She proudly served at the New Jersey Superior Court – Justice Complex, where she was known for her commitment, integrity, and dependable work ethic.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose greatest joy was caring for her family. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and guidance that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving children, Gwendolyn Sutton, Lisa Sutton, Charlotte Murphy (Larry), Darrell Howard, and Izeha Sutton. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts always.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, James Sutton.

Della Mae Sutton will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of faith, resilience, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
