Delores L. Boeckman

Delores L. Boeckman, age 92, of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
The Former Delores Meyer was born on March 17, 1932 in Newton, to the late Isidore and Lorena (Schuler) Meyer. Delores graduated from Kiel High School in 1950. On September 1, 1951 she married Robert H. Boeckman at St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2009. Delores was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for many years at the Red Owl Store and Northshore Liquor. She enjoyed playing cards. Delores was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, the St. Clare Society and the Red Hatters.
Delores is survived by her children: Diane Mattes, Monroe, Bonnie (Patrick) Walsh, Manitowoc, Janet (Greg) Keil, Iola, Jim (Ann) Boeckman, Sturgeon Bay, Linda Schiesl, Manitowoc, Mark (Susan) Boeckman, Manitowoc, Brian (Michelle) Boeckman, Manitowoc; 16 grandchildren: Ted Mattes, Tim (Sarah) Mattes, Wendy Kuchinski, and her special friend Brett Bast, Erik (Angela) Walsh, Mike (Peggy) Keil, Bill (April) Keil, Elizabeth Keil, Rob (Kaila) Boeckman, Jennifer (Zach) Schmatz, Chris (Kimberly) Schiesl, Sarah (Jeremy) Rucinski, Rebecca Schiesl, Lindsay (Adam) Prowls, Lauren Boeckman, Colton Boeckman, Blake Boeckman; two step-grandchildren: Marisa (Ian) Greene, Melinda Novy; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters include: Donald (Sharon) Meyer, Clementine Steinhardt, Charlie (Judy) Meyer, Paul Meyer, Virginia Freeze; sisters-in-law: Gloria Meyer and Ethel Meyer; as well as other relatives and friends. Delores is preceded in death by her parents: Isidore and Lorena Meyer; her husband: Robert H. Boeckman; one son-in-law: Jeff Mattes; one grandson: Nicholas Schiesl; her siblings: Victor Meyer, Harold Meyer, Theresa (Earl Holschbach, LeRoy Waack) Waack, Norman (Rita) Meyer, Leonard (Marge) Meyer, Luella (Allen) Mahloch; Dorothy (Ival) Grotegut; 2 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law: Rich Freeze, Jack Steinhardt, and Kathy Meyer.
A Funeral service to celebrate Delores's life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Matt Colle. Following the Mass, Delores will be laid to rest at the Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
