Delores J. Pruitt Chambers - age 81 of Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Hensley's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church where she sang in a church trio. Delores was a 1962 graduate of Lenoir City High School and she loved staying in touch with her classmates. Most of all Delores was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family dearly.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Troy E. Chambers; parents, Jim and Iona Pruitt; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Ola Chambers; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and J.T. Kilby; brothers-in-law, Joel Chambers, Bobby Gene Cox, G. W. Wiggins and Norman Arthur; nephew, James Robert Wiggins.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Chambers, Bryan (Ben) Chambers; daughter, Amy (Teddy) Mitchell; grandchildren: Colby (Madison) Chambers, Blakely (Bethany) Chambers, Ashton Chambers, Molly Mitchell, Addie Chambers, Aaron Mitchell, Caroline Chambers; great-grandchildren: Eleanor Katherine Chambers, Charlotte Blake Chambers and Helena Glenn Chambers. She also leaves behind sisters: Joyce Wiggins, Peggy (Woody) Martin, Loretta Arthur; sisters-in-law: Bernice Cox, Linda (Mike) Pickell, and Marsha (Mike) Self, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. by Elder Ricky Wiggins and Delores's son-in-law, Teddy Mitchell. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the Loudon Co.
