Delores M Eggen

Mrs. Delores M. Eggen, age 89 of Madison Heights, MI passed away on Thursday morning, September 4, 2025. She was born June 22, 1936 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Willliam and Marie (George) Scarpace and late brother William Scarpace.

Delores is survived by her 3 children in Shelley (Ron) Peteuil, Erik Eggen, and Lynn Bucchare . 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great, Great GrandChildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Karen Paczas.

After graduating from Girls Catholic Central in Detroit, MI in 1954, where she proudly served in the United States Army, where she served honorably as a secretary. Her commitment to service began early in life and remained a guiding principle throughout her years.

She was a devoted member of Saint Sharbel Church and the Ladies Altar Society, where she continued serving others. Whether organizing canned food drives, helping in the kitchen, or reaching out to the homeless, she lived a life rooted in love and service. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, but her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Visitation will be Monday, September 8, 2025 3-8pm with a rosary at 6:30pm at Chas. Verheyden. Inc., - Duross Chapel, 28499 Schoenherr, Warren, MI 48088. Funeral will be Tuesday, September 9, 2025 instate beginning at 10am until time of her funeral liturgy at 11am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 43888 Hayes Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038.
