Delores Y. Hervieux

Delores Y. Hervieux, 90 of Franklin passed away peacefully August 30, 2025 at St. Joseph Living Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Mansfield on May 19,1935 the daughter of Ovide and Yvonne (Therrien) Constant.

Delores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sibling.

She had several jobs before she and her husband Joseph founded J & D Embroidering in 1971 in Franklin and ran the business until retirement.

Delores was an avid gardener, gifted artist and talented seamstress. She had an adventurous spirit and never shied away from a new challenge. Delores loved staying busy and spending time with her family, which included going to the drive-in, the movie theater, kayaking, and helping with projects.

She was blessed with an incredible sense of humor. The staff at St. Joseph Living Center were entertained by her antics, as well as all who knew her. Her humor was only surpassed by her kindness and generosity.

Delores was predeceased by her husband Joseph Roger Hervieux, her brothers Roland Constant, Robert Constant, and her sister Marie Lucille Constant. She is survived by her daughter Theresa Ware of Franklin, her son Paul Hervieux and wife Sue Creamer of Franklin, four grandchildren Amy Robison and her husband Dan, April Weaver and her husband Larry, Jeremy Hervieux and Jessica Ecker. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren Sophie, Danny, Larry, and Alex. Delores is also survived by her brother Nelson Thomas Constant and his wife Liz, along with many nieces and nephews, step-grand and step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at Pautipaug Cemetery on Route 207 in Franklin on Sunday, September 14 at 1:00PM. There will be a Celebration of Life held at 86A Whippoorwill Hollow Road in Franklin immediately following.
