Delores "Dee" Elaine LeVake was born April 28, 1933 to Alvin and Ruby (Pedersen) Oleson in Arlington, South Dakota. She grew up in Arlington, graduating from Arlington High School and then completed three years at University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

Dee and Donald "Don" LeVake were married October 3, 1954 in Arlington and moved to Watertown, South Dakota. They were members of First United Methodist Church.

Dee worked for KWAT Radio until their first child was born; they had three more children before moving to Aberdeen, South Dakota. Three years later the family moved to Tracy, Minnesota and then back to Watertown in 1972. She started working for Loken's Sales Pavilion and then was employed at F&M Bank until she retired.

Dee liked to hunt, fish and camp, but she especially enjoyed her family time.

Grateful for having been in Dee's life are her devoted husband, Don of 71 years; her children, Deb (Marty) Harmel of Watertown, SD, Cindy Hartwig of Watertown, SD, Mike (Julie) LeVake of Robins, IA and Kris (Larry) Seefeldt of Watertown, SD; her eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with one more due in January; and her brother, Gene (Karen) Oleson of Rapid City, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ruby Oleson.
