Delores McCalvey Obituary
She was born on October 11, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Frank and Frances Carlson. Delores grew up in Madison Heights and was a proud graduate of Madison Heights High School, Class of 1956.
Delores found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She especially loved spending time with her family and took immense pride in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her love of yard sales and thrift store shopping-always on the hunt for a good deal and a hidden treasure.
She is survived by her daughter, Leann Olley; grandchildren, Sean (Heather) Spurlock and Haley (Travis) Spurlock-Messenger; and great-grandson, Benjamin. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Allison, and her brother, David (Barbara) Carlson.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dale Carlson, and her brother-in-law John Allison.
