Delores Turner Tolson, born on June 25, 1938, in Hartsville, South Carolina, departed this life peacefully at her home on March 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy came from her family and her unwavering faith in the Lord.

Delores dedicated many years of her life to her career at Hartsville Manufacturing.   Her kindness, compassion, and commitment to serving others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Especially dear to Delores were her children, John Tolson, Jr. (Donna), Sheila Marshall (Bryan), and Todd Tolson (Kellie), all of Hartsville. Her legacy will continue through her beloved grandchildren, Meredith Parker (Chris), Doug Outlaw, Charity Brooke Mozie (Benny), and Josh Tolson, along with her great-grandchild, Abby Parker.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband, John William Tolson, Sr., her parents, Clyde and Charity Turner, along with her brothers Delmas Turner and Clyde Wilburn Turner, as well as her sisters Mary Grantham, Martha Ingram, and Bonnie Watkins. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Allison Nicole Tolson.

Her memory will live on through her loving family and friends, who will carry forward the values and love she instilled in them.

Visitation for Delores Turner Tolson will take place on March 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norton Funeral Home And Crematory located at 1414 West Carolina Avenue in Hartsville, SC. A funeral service will be held on March 6, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Whispering Pines Baptist Church, situated at 2182 N 5th St, Hartsville, SC. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery at 3:30 PM on the same day.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Crescent Hospice, 696 Medical Park Drive, Hartsville, SC 29550.
