Delores A. Vaughn, 91, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. Delores was born in Spencer, on June 24, 1931 to Russell Nathan Duling and Nettie Louise (Fiscus) Duling. Delores graduated from Spencer High School in 1949 and married Jack Vaughn on July 6, 1950, celebrating 67 years of marriage before he passed in 2017. Delores worked as a book keeper for Vaughn & Cowden Sunoco and then with her husband for Vaughn Fuel Services, delivering fuel oil everywhere. She enjoyed crocheting and volunteering for the Spencer High School Alumni Association, and studying geneology.
Delores is survived by her children, Susan Vaughn, David (Lisa) Vaughn, grandchildren, Amber Page, Logan (Rachel) Vaughn, Landon (Leslie) Vaughn, Autumn (Tyler) Blankenship, Amy (Derek) Morgan, grandchildren, Elliott Page, Easton Page, Lane Page, Clara Vaughn, Drew Vaughn, Jack Vaughn, Olivia Vaughn, Everly Vaughn, Westlyn Blankenship, sister-in-law, Bonnie Macy, and several nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Stephan James Vaughn, brother, James "Jimmy" Duling, sister-in-law, Peggy Beasley.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 North Montgomery Street, Spencer. Pastor Gary Fiscus will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Owen County Public Library Pavilion through the funeral home.
