Deloris Ann Bracket

RAMSAY, Mich. - Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Deloris Ann Bracket, 84, of Ramsay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at her residence of natural causes.
Deloris was born on Sept. 12, 1938, to Peter and Ann Valentino in Trimountain. She was a lifelong resident of the Upper Peninsula.
Deloris was predeceased by her daughter, Marcy Lynn Bracket; and a grandson, Anthony Bracket.
She is survived by Dave Bracket, Ironwood; a sister, Patricia (Vern) Carlson, Punta Gorda, Florida; a brother, Gary (Ann) Valentino, Punta Gorda; four children, Michael (Maureen) Bracket, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and children, Laura Bracket and her son, Lincoln, Sam (Amy) Bracket and Marcy Bracket; Ann (Greg) Stengard, Bessemer, and daughter, Rachael (Marcus) Berhendt, and her two daughters, Arianna and Carol Ann; Dena (Jim) Reed, Ramsay, and son, Hunter Reed; and Peter (Lori) Bracket, Crown Point, Indiana, and children Payton (Deven) Runkle, Dawson (Alexis) Bracket, Darwin Bracket, Morgan Bracket, and Lori's three sons, Brayden, Keegan and Declan; and several nieces and nephews.
Deloris was a faithful member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and an active member of the Daughters of Isabella, Our Lady of Guadalupe – Circle 746.
Deloris was owner/operator of a boutique in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin for more than 50 years.
She enjoyed her weekly breakfast club with her lifetime friends for more than 50 years. She volunteered her time making pasties for St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, at 3 p.m., preceded by visitation at 2 p.m., and a parish rosary to be prayed at 2:45 p.m., at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 210 E. Iron St., in Bessemer. The Rev. Dominic Agyapong will officiate.
Rite of Committal and interment will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Bessemer, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Daughters of Isabella, c/o Barbara Karpus, Regent, 305 E. Silver St., Bessemer, MI 49911; or to Yoopers for Seminarians, Diocese of Marquette, 1004 Harbor Hills Drive, Marquette, MI 49855, two organizations that Deloris felt strongly about.
