DeLoris A Huttenhoff, age 94, passed away July 29, 2025, in New Lenox IL. Dot was born on June 18,1931 in Warren, Minnesota to the late Clayton and Avilde (nee Andresen) Cleveland. She grew up on the family farm there and later moved to Marley, Illinois. She met and married her husband Tom and raised 2 kids in New Lenox when it was still a small town, taking turns with the other moms cooking up big pots of sloppy Joe's for the grade school lunches. When the kids were older she also worked at the local insurance office. She loved cooking and entertaining and taking her turn hosting the family Christmas party.

She and Tom retired to the Hideaway golf community in Fort Myers, Florida, where they golfed every day and continued to entertain, hosting parties to watch the Chicago Bears with a whole crowd of folks from New Lenox that all migrated to Fort Myers. She loved watching her grandkids grow up and would send them home-baked cookies. She and Tom came back to Illinois every summer for years to visit family, and welcomed family that came to Florida for vacations. After Tom passed she came back to Illinois, where she and sister Darlyne lived at Willow Falls assisted living in Crest Hill.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years Thomas; parents Clayton and Ave Cleveland; brothers Lloyd and Darrel Cleveland; and sister-in-law Betty Cleveland (Lloyd's wife)

She is survived by her sister Darlyne (nee Cleveland) Hischier; daughter Cindy Madden; son Mickey R. (Ronnie) Huttenhoff; grandchildren David Tom (Tracy) Madden and Leah Madden; great grandchildren Lauren and Joseph Madden; sister-in-law Julie Cleveland (Darrel's wife); and many family and friends. She will be missed. Burial of Cremains will take place September 4, 2025, 11:30AM at Marshall Cemetery. For more information and online register www.hickeyfuneral.com or (815) 485-8697
