Deloris Isabelle (Hover) Trisch of Caro, formerly of Akron, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Bradenton, Florida. She was born on September 14, 1927, in Akron, the daughter of the late Dorus and Ethel (Beatenhead) Hover. Deloris graduated from Akron High School and married Floyd “Jim” Trisch on October 25, 1947. Together, they shared forty-seven years of marriage before his passing on September 24, 1994. The couple worked side by side, farming together until Jim’s retirement.
Deloris’s greatest joy was being a devoted mother and homemaker. She had a passion for music, teaching both Hawaiian and Spanish guitar, and was talented at playing the organ and accordion. Over the years, she worked at Holdburg's Meat Market in Caro and later retired from General Cable in Cass City. Deloris cherished time spent at their cottage at Hubbard Lake and their home in Bradenton, Florida. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she was a dedicated member of Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church.
Deloris will be remembered for her kind heart, positive attitude, love of animals, musical talents, and unwavering love for her family.
Deloris leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Patricia Trisch of Bradenton, Florida and David Trisch of Davison; two step-children, James (Charlene) Trisch and Sandra Smith; three grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Deloris was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diane Sue; son, Alan Trisch; sister, Marjorie Starkey.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church or Cass River Pet FriendZ or wishes of the family, c/o Patricia Trisch.
