Delphine Brinkmeyer, 80, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025. He was born on December 7, 1944, in Brenham, Texas, to the late Eddie Henry and Hulda Caroline Kaechler Brinkmeyer.
On January 3, 1969, Delphine married the love of his life, Anita (Beth) Gidney Brinkmeyer, in McKinney, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around love, hard work, and family. They shared a passion for spending time outdoors - tending to their garden, working in the yard, and finding joy in the simple things - especially when they weren't busy raising their children. Their love was quiet but steadfast, a true partnership that endured through every season of life.

To everyone who loved him, Delphine was simply known as "Pop." Whether through his gentle humor, steady presence, or the way he always put his family first, Pop's warmth and love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was the heart of his family and will be remembered for the comfort, laughter, and wisdom he brought into their lives.

He is also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Hulda Brinkmeyer; brothers, Carl and Eddie (Sonny) Brinkmeyer; sisters, Lois (Elaine) McCaig and Deloris Fowler; and nephew, Alan Trietsch.
