Delphine Brinkmeyer, 80, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025. He was born on December 7, 1944, in Brenham, Texas, to the late Eddie Henry and Hulda Caroline Kaechler Brinkmeyer.

On January 3, 1969, Delphine married the love of his life, Anita (Beth) Gidney Brinkmeyer, in McKinney, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around love, hard work, and family. They shared a passion for spending time outdoors - tending to their garden, working in the yard, and finding joy in the simple things - especially when they weren't busy raising their children. Their love was quiet but steadfast, a true partnership that endured through every season of life.

Delphine proudly served in the United States Army, dedicating his time and energy to his country with honor. Later on in life, he spent many years with Leightner Electronics, where he was known for his strong work ethic, easygoing nature, and the friendships he made along the way before retiring.

To everyone who loved him, Delphine was simply known as "Pop." Whether through his gentle humor, steady presence, or the way he always put his family first, Pop's warmth and love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was the heart of his family and will be remembered for the comfort, laughter, and wisdom he brought into their lives.

Delphine is survived by his beloved wife, Anita (Beth) Gidney Brinkmeyer; daughter, Angela Sullivan and husband Jimmy; son, Darrell Brinkmeyer and Jackie; grandchildren, Jordan Sullivan, Hunter and Heather Brinkmeyer, and Kasey Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Mia and Ashton; and sister, Shirley Trietsch. He is also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Hulda Brinkmeyer; brothers, Carl and Eddie (Sonny) Brinkmeyer; sisters, Lois (Elaine) McCaig and Deloris Fowler; and nephew, Alan Trietsch.

Delphine will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the countless ways he made life brighter for those around him. His warmth, laughter, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
