Delphine "Del" Bryant passed away, in Maumee, Ohio, embraced by the love of her cherished family on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Born in Toledo, Ohio on October 9, 1946, Delphine was raised in Toledo and attended Maumee High School. She married Jeffrey on November 24, 1972. They loved to dance even if it was in their living room. They both loved to take short trips. She found joy in painting ceramics and cherished moments spent playing board games with her family. Delphine cherished Christmas above all other times of the year. For her, it held profound significance rooted in continuing the cherished tradition of family gatherings.
Delphine is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Jeffrey, and cherished by her blended family, including her children: Tom (Lisa) Bryant, Diana (Denis) Foster, Ron (Deb) Grossheim, Tony Bremer, Tina (Chad) Thieman, and Dana (Charlie) Reul. She leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to her 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Her siblings: MaryAnne Necker, Linda Mapes, June Gressman, Anthony DeStazio, Gary (Pat) DeStazio, Rick DeStazio, and Kim Wagener.
Delphine was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and June DeStazio; her sister, Jean Whitaker; her brothers in-law Heinz Necker, Robert Mapes, Norman Gressman, and Terrance Wagener; sister in-law Kathleen "Cathy" Bryant; and her
stepson Todd Bryant.
Family and friends are invited to visit and share memories of Delphine from 2-8 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2024, in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 310 Elizabeth Street, Maumee, OH 43537. Delphine will then be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or the Maumee Fire Department.
