Dee was born in Hamtramck Michigan on November 25, 1928, to Chester and Ursula Wilson. She was the wife of the late Paul Parrott; loving mother of Michael (Cindi) Parrott and Cynthia (Scott) Beebout; proud grandmother of Tim (Alpha) Parrott and Wolfe, Robbie Parrott, Kayla (Julian) Borda and Christopher (McKayla) Beebout; and dear sister of the late Audrey Hickmott and Vivian Sims.
Dee enjoyed the years she spent traveling with Paul discovering covered bridges, and she loved a good game of Scrabble, which she usually won. She was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church in Lexington.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm Monday, April 28, 2025 at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road. Funeral services will be at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Sayre Christian Village or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
