Faye Bean passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. with her devoted son by her side.
Born on December 30, 1940, in Dyer, TN, Faye was a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of many. Before settling in Jackson from Chicago, IL, she worked as a receptionist at the North American Baptist Association. However, it was in caring for her family as a homemaker Faye found her true calling and joy.
Faye's interests were as varied as they were beautiful. She took great pleasure in reading and studying her Bible, finding solace in the words of faith. Moreover, she had a special fondness for Christian music, with the Gaither's being among her favorites. Tending to her rose garden brought her immense delight and peace. It was within the lively Golden Agers group at West Jackson Baptist Church that Faye truly shined and shared fellowship with others.
In addition to leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion in the hearts of all who knew her, Faye is survived by her loving son Jerry Bean as well as numerous nieces and nephews
Along with her Parents, father Alfred Thomas "Dobb" Noel and mother Vera Lucille Garrett Noel, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Bean; her brother Ernie Wayne Noel; sister Catherine Noel Parker.
Services to honor and celebrate Faye's life will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Ron Hale officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Highland Memorial Gardens.
A visitation will take place on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be directed to West Jackson Baptist Church, 580 Oil Well Road, Jackson, TN 38305 or online at www.westjacksonbc.org
