Demetrio se trasladó a Matamoros, Tamaulipas, en la década de los 70; en 1976, se unió en matrimonio con su gran amor, Juany, con quien compartió 49 años de matrimonio y formó una hermosa familia. Demetrio fue muy dedicado a su familia; Desempeñaba su oficio de hojalatero automotriz con mucho orgullo y fue muy entregado y apasionado a su negocio.
Será profundamente extrañado y eternamente recordado.
Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, Telesforo Jasso Padrón y su madre Secundina Rodríguez Castillo; sus hermanos Pascual †, Silvestre†, Federico†, Marciana†, Heriberto†, Rogelio†, Filiberta †, y Santana†.
Le sobreviven, para atesorar su memoria, su querida esposa, Juany Jasso; sus hijas, Alma Jasso (Daniel Torres) y Mayra Jasso; sus nietos, Daniela Torres, Diego Torres y Damian Torres; y su hermano, Alfonso Jasso.
La velación se llevará a cabo de 10:00 a.m. a 2:00 p.m. el sábado, 17 de mayo de 2025 con un servicio de capilla a las 2:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Sunset Memorial. El sepelio seguirá a continuación a las 3:00 p.m. en Guillen Community Cemetery.
