Dena Tompkins Obituary
Survivors include three daughters: Sherry Michele (Chris) Gross of Danville, Christena (Shawn) Barber of Moreland, and Anna Fay Miller of Danville; one son John Thomas Tompkins of Harrodsburg; three sisters: Karen (Carl) Neumeister of South Carolina, Sheila (Dave) Perkins and Kim Brand both of Louisville; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by one great granddaughter Jazlynn Rose Miller; three brothers: Wilbur Lee Powell, Lindsey Thomas Powell, and James Ray Powell; and two sisters: Pam Sandmann and Linda O'Bryan.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Williams officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Gross, Kevin Michael Bugg, Zackery Gross, Joshua Gross, Izaya Hoskins, Brady Cook, Jackson Abrams, and Evan Williams.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

You will be missed so much. You were the world´s best mamaw. I know you were in pain and now I know your at peace and in no pain. But that doesn´t make losing you any easier. I know your gonna be watching over us because your our beautiful angel. I love you to the moon and back<33 You always knew how to put a smile on our faces even if we tried to hide it you always found a way to make us laugh. Rest In Peace my beautiful angel <33
