Denise Lynn Barrett

Denise Lynn Barrett, age 57, of Monroe, GA passed away Monday, February 2, 2026. Denise was born October 23, 1968 in Anaheim, CA. Beloved wife, best friend, daughter, and sister. Denise loved the people in her life more than anything. She found so much happiness and purpose in her marriage to her husband, Greg Barrett. She was fiercely protective of and loyal to everyone she loved. She was always just a phone call away for anyone needing to talk to a good friend. Denise always seemed to excel at any sport or hobby she picked up. In high school she was very active in FFA, and raised steers, pigs, and lambs. She loved tennis, bowling, and target shooting. She loved everything that had to do with the country, including country line dancing, country music, horses, and even moving to Georgia to live in the country. Denise touched many lives, more than she even realized. She will be dearly missed. Denise is rejoicing with her Lord and Savior. God bless her. Denise is proceeded in death by her mother, Carol Burke, and her brother, Adam Montville. Denise is survived by her husband, Greg Barrett, Greg's parents Gerald and Helen Barrett, brother Brett Montville, as well as her beloved dog, "Peanut". No formal Service is planned at this time.
