Denise E. Conte

Denise E. Conte (nee Gougon), on December 27, 2024 of West Deptford. Age 69. Beloved wife of Richard "Rick" Conte. Loving mother of Angela Conte (Nick Boucher). Devoted sister of Gail L. Gougon, Sandy Ragan (Rick), Millie Brougham (William), Cynthia Gougon, and the late Robert E Gougon, Jr. and Debbie Echevarria (Sergio). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert E. Gougon, Sr. and Elizabeth J. Gougon (nee Cleaver).
Denise and Rick were married for 44 years and were together for 45 years. Denise was very caring and loved spending time with her family, she was "The Glue" that held them together. She learned to cook from her mother and enjoyed helping out at the firehouse that her and her husband were apart of. Denise was strong willed and hardworking, she started working at a young age as a hairdresser in her aunt's salon, later opening her first salon in Paulsboro and then opened her next one in Westville called "Denise's Creative Touch." Most recently Denise worked at Wawa as a cashier during the overnight shift. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, making wreaths, and watching the Hallmark Channel and Ion Network.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10am to 12noon in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096.
Memorial Service 12noon in The Chapel of the funeral home.
