Denise "Deni" Swartz, born on July 9, 1957, in Welch, West Virginia, passed away on September 17, 2025, in Northridge, Ohio. Deni was a vibrant and loving presence in the lives of many, known for her fun-loving spirit and infectious humor. She was a loyal and compassionate friend, offering kindness and support to those around her. Deni's perseverance and stubbornness were matched only by her immense patience and the care she showed towards her family and friends.

A proud member and avid attendee of the VFW Post #6560 in Northridge, where she formed countless relationships and cherished memories. Deni was also an honorary member of the "W" Corner. She had a notable ability to connect with others, making her truly special in the hearts of all who knew her.

Deni had a wide array of interests that brought her joy. She loved God and derived pleasure from hobbies such as completing jigsaw puzzles and indulging in her passion for animals. Her fondness for soap operas, particularly The Young and the Restless, colored her leisure time, as did her enthusiasm for Bingo nights. Deni cherished visiting the Appalachian Mountains and enjoyed playing the piano in her younger days. A lover of country music, she often found solace in singing. During football season, Deni could be found cheering on her favorite teams-the Bengals and Ohio State. Her sweet tooth was unmistakable, particularly when it came to chocolate. Deni had a deep admiration for nature-especially butterflies.

In her passing, she leaves behind her beloved daughters, Morgan Swartz & her wife, Grace Zucker and Mallory & her husband Jeff Mears, along with her cherished granddaughters, Makail, Alexa, and Zoey. Deni's domestic partner, Mike Baker, was a significant part of her life, standing by her side through the years. She is also survived by her parents, Mitchell & Wilma Jackson, and her siblings, Tina Jackson & her husband Steve Adamson and Mitch & his wife Rhonda Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

Deni was preceded in death by her brother, David Jackson, and her sister, Michelle "Mickey" Turner. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her and were fortunate enough to share moments in her presence. Deni's legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will be remembered fondly by her family and friends, who will carry her spirit with them always.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, please check back later for more information.
