Denise Kay Richardson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Kay (Greer) Richardson, 60, of Kokomo, IN on February 23, 2024 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Denise was born on February 5, 1964 to Richard L. Greer and Martha J. McLay in Peru, IN. Denise had three children, Andrea Richardson, Caleb (Jeni) Richardson, and Braden Richardson. Denise dedicated her life to being a wonderful, loving mother, and supporting her family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to help improve the lives of those around her. Denise was passionate about family, the beauty of nature, and filling the world with warmth and kindness. Her compassionate soul touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, brother Zane Greer and nephew Ryan Dorsam. She is survived by her children, brother Chet Greer, sisters Debbie Dorsam and Susan Peters, 8 grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, nieces, and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
In our hearts, Denise lives on, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all.
There will be a celebration of life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 12:30-4pm for close friends and family at Peru Civic Center located at 225 East Riverside Drive, Peru, Indiana.
