Paul Andrew Gardner, 73, of Peru passed away at his residence on Friday, August 22, 2025.

He was born in Peru on September 30, 1951 to the late Dale Leon and Dorothea Harriet (Hollenback) Gardner.

Paul worked at Rochester Iron & Metal for several years as a scrap metal recycler. He loved cars, racing, and building model cars in his free time. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to his favorite genre of music between the late 50's and mid 70's.

He is survived by his children; Maxwell Gardner(Keisha Mau) of Peru, Nicole Vorhees and husband of Peru, Kristine Gardner(Scott Jeffers) of Rochester, grandchildren; Layne Vorhees, Rythm Vorhees, Kagen Gardner, Jordan Gardner-Crispen, Jaxsin Bender, and brother, Sam Gardner of Royal Center, Indiana.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Hattie Gardner, brothers, J.T Gardner, Jerry Gardner, and sister, Peggy. Also preceding him in death is his former wife and mother of his children, Donna Schwingle.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.
