Victor Monroe Gardner, 71, of Perry, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025. He was born on November 27, 1953, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Paul and Myrtle Gardner (Smith).

Victor proudly served his country in the United States Army before returning home to build a life rooted in hard work, family, and community. He owned and operated Gardner's Pest Control for many years, earning the respect and trust of those he served.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Victor found joy in being outside, especially on the golf course. Yet, nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family-most especially his grandchildren and his beloved sister, Janet Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Paul T. Gardner; and his sister, Ramona Rowell.

Victor is survived by his son, Jason Gardner of Byron; his partner, Lisa Hargraves of Perry; his sister, Janet Gardner of Fort Valley; and his brother, Johnny Gardner and his wife Cindy of Gainesville. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Halley Gardner of Fort Myers, Hannah Gardner of Byron, and Harrison Gardner of Perry, as well as his former spouse, Bonnie Gardner of Byron. He is also survived by his nieces, Melody Gardner of Warner Robins, Mindy Gardner of Macon, and Mellisa Gardner of Gainesville; and his nephews, Marcus Gardner of Cochran and Bluette Rowell of Fort Valley.

A visitation to honor Victor's life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Interment will follow on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Centerville Baptist Cemetery.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Victor will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
