Gregory "Gregg" Brian Kehr, 68, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, surrounded by love. His death was preceded by his mother, Darlene (Pendleton) Kehr, and father, Richard Kehr.

Born on October 26, 1956, Gregg lived a life defined by hard work, an enormous heart, and an enduring passion for adventure and joy. In his younger years, Gregg was an avid motorcycle rider, embracing the thrill and freedom of the open road. As life evolved, so did his pursuits, he traded two wheels for four hooves and found joy in riding horses. Eventually, he hung up the reins and took to the golf course, where he discovered his true pastime. Many weekends were happily spent perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of friends on the fairway.

Though he spent many years as a building contractor, Gregg's true calling was found later in life when he became a CDL driver. For him, this was more than a job, it was a quality-of-life promotion that gave him purpose and joy. He especially treasured his time with Griffin Lumber, where he was not only respected for his knowledge and work ethic but deeply loved as a member of the team.

Above all, Gregg's greatest pride and joy was his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Cheryl (Starr) Kehr; his daughter, Chesiree (Kehr) Lofswold, and her husband, Tim; his bonus daughter, Maggie (Betts) Drake, and her husband, David; and his cherished grandchildren, Alivia Lofswold, Madison Drake, and David Drake. He is also remembered by his first wife, Deb Kehr, the mother of Chesiree, with whom he remained friends throughout his life. His siblings Randy Kehr, Kim (Kehr) Foulger, Mark Kehr, and Raelynn Kehr who mourn his loss deeply.

Gregg was immeasurably proud of Chesiree and Maggie, and nothing made him happier than cheering on his grandchildren-whether from the sidelines of a soccer game or through stories joyfully shared with friends and family. He loved staying connected with his extended family, celebrating milestones with the same enthusiasm he brought to every part of life.

To know Gregg was to know a friend. His warmth, humor, and kindness left an imprint on everyone he met, and his absence will be felt by countless friends and loved ones.

Gregg's legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply, the friendships he nurtured, and the joy he found in living life to the fullest.

A celebration of life BBQ will be held at the home of David and Maggie Drake on Saturday, September 6th, at 5:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are welcome to join via Zoom. Together we will share fun stories and warm memories of Gregg, honoring his life in the way he would have loved most surrounded by laughter, good food, and the people he cared for.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
