Shirley Louise (Kramer) Hess, 91, formerly of Beaver County, PA, and most recently of Warner Robins, GA, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 14, 2025. Born on September 13, 1934, in London, England, Shirley was the beloved daughter of the late Lionel and Alice Kramer. She was also preceded in death by her partner of 25 years, George Weston. Shirley is survived by her loving brother, Brian Kramer (Margaret), and her niece, Tracy, all of England. Her memory will forever be cherished by her three children: Gary Hess, Susan Martin (Leon), and Sandra Pollock (Joseph); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and especially by her great-granddaughter, Kennedy Gibbs, with whom she shared a very special bond. Proudly British through and through, Shirley will be remembered for her love of flowers, her sharp sense of humor, her spirited stubbornness, and her deep affection for her homeland. She often spoke fondly of her experiences growing up in England during the war, memories that shaped her strength and resilience. While living in Pennsylvania, Shirley devoted herself to caring for many neighborhood children, offering a nurturing presence and leaving a lasting impact on countless lives. Shirley will be returned to England to be laid to rest alongside her beloved parents. With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
