Paul Edward Bentley, of Kathleen, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 63 years old. Born on December 15, 1961, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Paul was the cherished son of Lindsey and Barbara (Miller) Bentley. A proud patriot, Paul faithfully served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he continued to give back to his community through his work with the Houston County Board of Education. Paul had a zest for life and a passion for the open road. He was an avid fan of racecars and motorcycles, and he found great joy in fishing-often seeking peace and reflection on the water. His adventurous spirit and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Paul's memory will be forever cherished by his parents, Lindsey and Barbara Bentley; his brother, Russell Bentley; and his nephews, Russell Lindsey Bentley and Ramsey Bentley. With honor and compassion, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. Paul's life was one of quiet strength, deep love for family, and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He will be dearly missed.
