Dennis Raymond Kehr

Dennis Raymond Kehr, of Whitehall, passed away on August 25, 2025, just weeks shy of his 79th birthday on September 19-a birthday he proudly shared with his son, Scott.
He was the devoted husband of 45 years to Kathleen Michelle Kehr, loving father of Scott Raymond Kehr, the late Kristopher Michael Kehr, and Nicole Lynn Kehr, and proud "Pap" to his grandson and special "Grand-boy," Jameson Scott Kehr. He is also survived by siblings Kevin, Bruce, Pam, and Kit. He is reunited with his son Kristopher, his brother Terry, and his parents Emil and Kathleen.
Dennis served in the U.S. Navy alongside his brother Terry and later worked many years as a Route Man for the Pittsburgh Press and Post-Gazette.
He loved the outdoors-camping, hunting, fishing, and later gardening-and shared this love with his family. In retirement, he spent his days tending his garden, shopping for bargains, and enjoying feel-good movies.
Dennis also had a deep love for animals, and throughout his life he cared for and cherished the family's many dogs, cats, and grand-puppies. Each held a special place in his heart and brought him joy.
Above all, Dennis loved his family. He will be remembered for the everyday moments that defined his life: meals lovingly prepared by Kathleen, time spent in the garden, and the joy he found in the presence of those he loved most.
