Cynthia Diane Pruitt, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. Born on December 28, 1975, Cynthia was the beloved daughter of the late Bobby Fowler and Sherry Yates.

Cynthia was known for her kind heart and the deep love she had for those around her. She had a vibrant personality and a passion for dressing up, always adding her own unique flair and charm to any room she entered. She especially adored Looney Tunes, with a special fondness for Tweety Bird, a character that mirrored her playful spirit and bright demeanor.

A true animal lover, Cynthia held a special place in her heart for dogs. She found joy in laughing, playing, and spending time with them. But above all, Cynthia's greatest source of happiness was her family-most especially her children, whom she loved unconditionally.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her beloved son, Kelton Jesod Brown; her sister, Amanda Yates; and her parents, Bobby Fowler and Sherry Yates.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of those who survive her: her long time partner, Shawn Blalock; her sons, Joseph Garland and Dustin Brown; her adored grandchildren, Liam Brown, Jackson Brown, Rayleigh Brown, Brantley Brown, and Tobi Brown; her sisters, Tammy Etheridge and Sonya Etheridge; her brother, Michael Yates; and a host of nieces and nephews who brought joy to her life-Myah Etheridge, Marques Mathis, Nevaeh Mathis, Cayden Hayes, Celena Luna, Michaela Yates, Chloe Luna, and Joshua Burr.

Cynthia's warmth, laughter, and love will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
