Denise Schlund Obituary
Denise Lynn Schlund, 58, of Orrville, passed away September 20, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland.
Denise was born September 8, 1967 in Orrville, Ohio to Dall Cottrell and Kathryn {Dumire} Beck.
Denise worked at Aultman Orrville Hospital. She loved taking care of her cats, spending time with her grandkids and watching the cooking channel.
Denise will be deeply missed by her children Kyle Johnston and Kelsie (Jayme) Curie; grandchildren Adalyn and Jerin Curie; mother Kathryn Sue Beck; sister Karen Hensel; niece Meggan Hensel; and nephew Matthew (Haylea) Hensel.
Denise was preceded in death by her father Dall Cottrell, step-father James Beck, and grandparents Lawrence and Dorothy Dumire.
Friends may call Friday September 26, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Denise-Schlund). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society at 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd. Wooster, OH 44691.
